7 Real Simple Under-The-Sink-Storage Hacks

We like to think of things in boxes. That’s a basic principle of organization.
So put similar things together.
That way items are easy to discover and it’s emotionally appealing to see whatever is in their place. This will blast away any stress you have with your clutter.
Arrange Makeup & Toiletries With See-Through Boxes & Shelves

These matching baskets are great space savers! I switched to these for my children and it’s helped organize as well as reduce drama.
I love how they are see through so that I don’t have to pull them out to see what’s in them. We store towels, perfumes, hair appliances, and makeup in ours, though as you can see, there are so many uses.
You can also use them under kitchen sinks to hold cleaning towels, scrubbies, and gloves.
Caddies Aren’t Only For Showers

Caddies undoubtedly make shower clutter almost non existent, and they work virtually anywhere! Stick on a caddie over a drawer or on the back of a door.
Go for an over-the-door stand to help in keeping other supplies organized behind your bathroom or storage room door. Try this amazing one (it holds so much!)
Speaking Of Cleaning Supplies…That Can Be Tense

What a mess, right?
Caddies and boxes just don’t really clean up the mess, I’ve found.
But then I found this tension rod idea, and it really helped! It’s easy to hang up, and the pole is strong enough to hold all the bottles.

Doesn’t that appear so much better! The tension pole makes for simple bottle-hanging, so they aren’t taking up room on the bottom of your under-sink-storage. They’re not as bulky up there!

Paper organizers, racks, and other office supplies make little but very helpful additions to your organization.
Spice It Up With A Spice Rack

I actually enjoy this one from Target, myself. Not a spice rack, but same idea.
I enjoy that it’s more refined looking than a plastic lazy suzan spice rack. And it’s two shelves instead of one!
This is fantastic for my makeup, perfumes, cottonswabs, moisturizers, and other assorted bottles.
I’ll say that whirling spice racks may be a great option for cleaning bottles and other materials under your sink!
Make It Fun

Maybe this seems foolish since no one is actually looking under your sink and in your cabinets much. But the more organized and pretty something looks, the more likely you’re to keep it that way!
Organizing is an excellent step in the right path.
Additionally, it is nice to have pretty shelves. Use elegant or cute contact paper to make you feel inspired to keep it organized.
It makes a difference when I know MY storage space looks amazing.
