University of South Carolina ranked among best employers

The University of South Carolina was rated in an inventory launched by Forbes that ranks America’s Best Employers.

USC was ranked No. 96, the sole Southeastern Conference college in set of 500.

Forbes worked with research agency Statista to gather the definitive list of the top companies in America. Statista surveyed 30,000 American workers to assemble their opinions of their companies. On the scale of zero to five, it asked how likely these were to recommend their organization to family or friends. Those results were the main factor in determining a company’s ranking with this list. Statista then asked employees to propose other companies beyond their own. These scores also advised the rank, but to a lesser degree.

Google came in second, falling one position since last year’s rank.
